Auto insurance with limits that match what you have to protect
State minimum coverage is cheap because it covers very little. We set your limits based on your income and what you own, then find the best price for that coverage.

Coverage
What an auto policy covers
The parts of a policy, from the one the law requires to the ones your lender does.
Bodily injury liability
Injuries you cause to other people. Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee require at least $25,000 per person and $50,000 per accident.
Property damage liability
Damage you cause to other people's cars and property. The state minimum is $25,000.
Uninsured motorist
Pays for your injuries when the other driver has no insurance or not enough.
Collision
Damage to your car from a crash, minus your deductible.
Comprehensive
Theft, hail, fallen trees, fire, flooding and hitting a deer.
Medical payments, rental and towing
Smaller coverages that keep a bad day from turning into an expensive week.
What we teach every client
Three things to get right on an auto policy
Liability should match your life
If you cause a serious accident, the injured person can go after your savings and future wages once your limit runs out. Our guideline is liability equal to 2.5 times household income or your net worth, whichever is greater.
Uninsured motorist protects you
Liability pays the other person. Uninsured motorist pays you when the at-fault driver can't. It's the coverage people reject most often, usually to save a little on premium.
Georgia has two kinds of UM
Georgia offers add-on uninsured motorist coverage, which stacks on top of the at-fault driver's liability, and reduced-by coverage, which subtracts it. Add-on is the default and pays more. Choosing reduced-by takes a signed rejection.

Questions
Common questions
Is the state minimum enough?
For most households, no. The minimum is $25,000 per person for injuries. A single hospital stay can cost more than that, and you're responsible for the rest.
Do I need uninsured motorist coverage?
We recommend it on every policy. It's the coverage that pays your own medical bills when the other driver can't.
Does bundling home and auto save money?
Usually. The discount varies by carrier and state. We quote both ways so you can see the difference.

We'll go through it with you, explain what it pays for and what it doesn't, then build a quote around what you want covered. If yours already covers what matters to you, we'll say so.
